  • Gulmarg Gondola tickets sell out in peak season; book online in advance.
  • Pahalgam and Sonamarg valleys are visited by local union taxis or ponies, paid directly.
  • Hotel check-in is usually 12 noon and check-out 10 or 11 am.

Is Kashmir safe for tourists?

When can I see snow in Kashmir?

Gulmarg usually has snow from December to March, and the top of the gondola often has snow into May. Sonamarg's glacier has snow through most of summer.
