FAQs

How do I avoid altitude sickness in Ladakh?

Rest completely on your first day in Leh, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol for the first two days and go up slowly. Our itineraries keep a rest day and sleep at Leh before the higher passes.

Do I need a permit for Nubra and Pangong?

Yes, permits and environment fees are required for these areas. We arrange them for you with your ID details before the trip.

Can I travel to Ladakh in winter?

Flights to Leh run all year, but Pangong and Nubra roads can be difficult and many hotels close. We recommend May to September for a first trip.
